Bowling changes

THE ECB fast bowling directives have changed following a two-year consultation process.
Under 15 players can now bowl longer spells and more overs in a day.
Uunder 16s and under 17s can bowl an extra over per spell,
but under 18s and under 19s have had the total number of overs they can deliver per day
reduced from 21 to 18.
These guidelines, designed to protect young players from injury,
will come into effect for the 2010 season.
NEW GUIDELINES - Up to 13 years old, 5 overs per spell and 10 maximum per day;
14/15, 6 and 12; 16/17, 7 and 18; 18/19, 7 and 18.
